Refunds/Returns

All sales are final. If something is wrong with your order, please contact me and I will be more than happy to assist you with that and make things right! You will be asked to submit evidence of what is wrong with the item(s) in order to ensure that the situation is handled fairly. Unfortunately, there are people who claim that their items are damaged in order to receive free additional merchandise.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Again, you will be asked to submit evidence of what is wrong with the item(s) in order to ensure that the situation is handled fairly.

Cancellations or changes to order
​
You have 12 hours from the time and date of purchase to cancel or make changes. This is due to the fact that majority of items in this store are custom made. Should I have to cancel an order after I have already started, product and material have now been wasted.
If you would like to cancel your order or make changes to your order please contact me at contact@melaninmadeit.net with your order number. If you are cancelling the order, you will be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too (typically 3-7 business days).

Please be sure to read the Shipping Policy in order to gain a better understanding of the processing and shipping time before placing an order. Be sure to order items in a timely manner if they are needed for a specific date or event. I will not be held liable for items not reaching in a timely manner seeing as how the processing time is listed and once the item is shipped it is out of my possession and control.
